Fresh Update!!
A report making round that the ongoing “one week” warning strike embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities(ASUU) has been extended by one month is false. The industrial action will end today while academic activities fully resumes Wednesday November 23, 2016. We urge our students to disregard any information different from this as given by the union.
In another development, we wish to state clearly that the matriculation ceremony for the newly admitted students for the 2016 / 2017 academic session is billed to hold on Thursday November 24, 2016. It is unfortunate to know that some unscrupulous elements re-edited a press statement made available on Saturday November 19, 2016 by the union whereby it was stated clearly that the matriculation ceremony will hold on November 24, 2016 but later changed to November 29, 2016 to create confusion in the university community . The union hereby warn against any form of criminal act in relation to disseminating false information that could mislead our students. Call for more information.
