The students’ union leadership has again pleaded for a reopening of last session academic portal for students who are yet to complete their course registration. All affected students are to report to the students’ union secretariate for proper documentation of complaints on or before Thursday November 10, 2016. The university has also advised affected students to meet their Head of Department(HOD) to further establish their complaints.
* ON ELECTIONS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES ON CAMPUS
The students’ union government has directed that all students oriented programmes, elections and social activities on campus be duly communicated to the union formally. The union frowns at manner in which social activities not approved by the union are on the increase within the school, promises to sanction organizers of unapproved events, also with an assurance that such event would be suspended.
* PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE/SCHOOL FEES FOR NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS
We wish to inform our students that the payment of acceptance/school fees for newly admitted students has again been extended till Friday November 11, 2016. The students’ union government under the leadership of Com. Tayo Mabunmi knows the importance of education and cannot allow for a denial on the part of our anticipated students. We plead for strict compliance to this effect.
* ON ALL FORMAL ASSOCIATIONS ON CAMPUS
The union has ordered that all formal associations on campus be duly introduced to the union for proper recognition and better treatment. It will afford these associations an opportunity to interact with the newly admitted students during the orientation programme slated for Friday November 11, 2016 and possibly recruit interested ones.
The students’ union government wish to inform our students that the confidence repose in us is forever strong, the journey though challenging but nothing will hinder us from serving you better.
